이성근화백은 서울 즐생으로 제 6회 이당 미술상을 수상하였으며, 대한민국 미술대전 심사 위원장을 역임하였고, 현재는 건국대학교 대학원 조빙 교수로 재적증입니다.
이성근화백은 서울을 비롯하여 미국과 일본 , 오스트리아, 증국, 독일, 프랑스 등에서 50여호1 개인초대전을 하였으며, 이화백의작품은 대한민국 청와대와, 유엔본부, 영국왕실, 미국국방부 펜타곤, 파리 헤르메스, 필리핀 대통령 궁, 뉴욕 한국 종영사관, 워싱톤주청사,
건국대학교, 포스코등에 작품이 소장되어 있으며, 사실과 주상을 넘나드는 현대 미술가입니다.
Artist Lee, Seong-keun was born in Seoul, won the 6th IEDang Art Award, and served as the head of thejudging panel for the National Art Exhibition of Korea; at present, Artist Lee is working as a visiting professor at Konkuk University Graduate School. Artist Lee, Seong-keun held about SO-time private invitational exhibition in the US, Japan, Austria, China, German, and France including Seoul; in addition, artist Lee's works are housed the Blue House in Korea, the UN Headquarters, British Monarchy, the US Department of Defence-the Pentagon, Paris Hermes, the Philipppine Presidential Palace, the Korean Consualte General in NY, Washing State Capitol, Konkuk University, and POSCO, etc, and Lee, Seong-keun is a modern artist frequently crossing between the Real and Abstraction.
